Serious Eight (or Serious 8) is DLC for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter. It was released in July 2011.

OverviewEdit

Serious Eight is DLC that contains eight characters for multiplayer (co-op and versus) in Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter. When downloaded, it enables the player to select these models in the “Multiplayer model” screen.

The Serious Eight DLC was only available during the Steam Summer 2011 event. In this event, one could collect a ticket for getting an achievement in a certain game. With three tickets, one could get the Serious Eight DLC, among many other items. However, the DLC is no longer available since the Steam Summer 2011 event is over. It is currently unknown if one will ever be able to purchase it normally in the Steam store.

Behind the ScenesEdit

• Several of the models, such as Canned Cain and Cobalt Cinderella, can be found in Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter's model files. This suggests that the models were supposed to be in the game from the very start, but were removed for an unknown reason.

• The Ugh-Zan III model was originally given to people that had pre-ordered Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter.
