Team Beast Hunt is basically a team-based version of Beast Hunt. The idea is the same as regular Beast Hunt, but instead of individual players competing, players are divided into two teams, Red and Blue. Each team's score is based on the sum of the points each player in the team obtains. The team with the most points at the end of the level wins.
As with normal Beast Hunt, players can obtain a License to Kill, but the mechanics are somewhat different on how to obtain it. Every time the team reaches an increment of 25,000 points (such as 25,000, 50,000 and 75,000), each member of the team obtains a License to Kill.
- Being in teams makes it easier to win, as the points from a powerful enemy that is killed by a teammate (such as a Major Biomechanoid) contribute to a team's score, not just an individual's score.
- As with normal Beast Hunt, use Licenses to Kill on rivals that are ahead of the player. This lets the player obtain get points that a rival might've otherwise obtained.
- Another good use of a License to Kill is to kill a rival that appears to be getting the most points for the enemy team. This allows the player's team to catch up to the enemy team.
