The Treasure Chest is a treasure item in Serious Sam: Xbox, Serious Sam II, Serious Sam HD and Serious Sam 3: BFE.

The Treasure Chest is a large treasure chest filled with gold and other valuables. Its point value depends on the game it is in; in Serious Sam: Xbox it gives the player 50,000 points while the Serious Sam 2 incarnation gives the player 5,000 points when picked up.

The Treasure Chest appears in single player and co-op modes in Serious Sam: Xbox and Serious Sam 2, but can only be found in Coin-Op Co-Op mode in Serious Sam HD and Serious Sam 3: BFE.

Its rarity depends on the game. In Serious Sam: Xbox, Treasure Chests are usually tucked into corners and semi-hidden alternate paths, while in Serious Sam II, it is only found in secrets.

  • A Treasure Chest will give half of the points needed to get an Extra Life, making it very valuable. The player should be on the lookout for them if they need to get Extra Lives for whatever reason.
  • It is also very useful for those that're trying to get a high score, as the amount of points a Treasure Chest gives can make a significant impact on one's final score.
